48-V Input DC-DC High Step-Down Converter in GaN-Based Design

چکیده

This paper presents a novel high step-down DC-DC converter based on switched-capacitor resonant topology. It is presented in 48/8 V version, which was verified by simulations and experiments. The most notable features specific to this are an almost non-iductive design relatively low voltage stress across switching devices. proposed topology allows for zero-current-switching (ZCS) zero-voltage-switching (ZVS). Experimental tests confirm that ZVS operation brings significant increase the efficiency of device. Taking into account all advantages suggested converter, it can be concluded device suitable any application where conversion required. In prospective application, utilized as part power supply unit data centers.
